Im from the texas panhandle and one of the richest oil people up here is starting to buy up land and putting up wind turbines because he knows its coming. So the middle class gets fucked no matter what. They will not drill here unless there is lots of money in it that is what its all about. The price is set at a global market, so it ain't gonna do shit. What we need Congress to do is quit wasting there time debating this offshore and ANWR drilling and starting putting their efforts into finding alternatives. We are supposed to reach Peak Oil in the next 10 years(a conservative estimate) some say we have already reached it. More drilling will not help, we need alternatives ASAP.
